Q2 2024 Android Performance Report for Top 5 US Idle RPGs

In the second quarter of 2024, the Idle RPG category has seen varied performances among the top apps on the Android platform in the US. Here we delve into the numbers for a closer look at how these games fared, with data courtesy of Sensor Tower.

Legend of Mushroom by Joy Nice Games started strong with 41K downloads at the beginning of April but saw a decline to 744 downloads by late June. Weekly active users peaked at 58K in early April, later settling around 39K. Revenue followed a similar downward trend from 30K USD to 8.5K USD by the end of the quarter.

Blade of Chaos: Raider, developed by UnlockGame, showed modest figures compared to others. Its downloads were negligible, with a few peaks of 80 downloads in early April. Active users experienced a gradual decrease from 677 to 463. Revenue fluctuated, beginning at 1.1K USD, reaching a peak of 1.7K USD, and closing the quarter at 1.1K USD.

Idle Heroes - 8th Anniversary from DHGAMES maintained a stable active user base, starting with 15K and rising to 18K by the quarter's end. Downloads saw an increase from 2.1K to 2.6K. Revenue saw a rise in the final week to 1.3K USD after fluctuating throughout the quarter.

Overmortal by LTGAMES GLOBAL had no downloads reported for the quarter. The number of weekly active users remained consistent at around 242. Revenue showed an unexpected spike in mid-May with 3.9K USD, but otherwise hovered below 500 USD.

Lastly, Magic Rush: Heroes by Elex had no new downloads this quarter. Active users saw a small uptick from 40 in early April to 56, before stabilizing at 27 by June's end. Revenue fluctuated mildly, ending the quarter slightly higher at 520 USD.
